Fine Art & Editorial Photography
"I don't photograph what I see — I photograph what waits to be seen. The fog before it lifts, the half-second before a smile lands, the architecture of a city that forgets you're watching."
Portfolio
A curated selection from ongoing series and commissioned projects, 2021–2025.
About
Elena Marsh is a fine art and editorial photographer whose work lives in the quiet spaces between genres — landscape, portraiture, architecture, and street. Born in Edinburgh and based between Lisbon, Reykjavík, and Tokyo, she has spent fifteen years chasing light across forty-two countries.
Her work has been featured in Aperture, British Journal of Photography, Kinfolk, and National Geographic Traveller. She holds an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art and has exhibited in solo shows in London, Berlin, and Tokyo.
Elena accepts a limited number of commissions each year — editorial portraits, fine art landscape prints, and intimate weddings. She believes a photograph should feel like a memory you didn't know you had.
